Your Guide To Shopping With Us
At Springfield Florists Supply, we offer two convenient ways to purchase fresh flowers and floral supplies.
First, our doors are open to the public (DIY customers) every Thursday and Friday from 8 AM – 1 PM. During these hours, you’re welcome to explore our 18,000 sq. ft. warehouse, including nearly 3,500 sq. ft. of cold storage, and hand-select exactly what you need. We maintain a large, fresh inventory, so there’s always plenty to choose from.
Second, if you’re planning an upcoming event or need specific colors or products, we encourage you to call, email, or speak with a sales representative at least three weeks prior to your desired pickup date. This this gives us adequate time to source your items and ensure you get exactly what you need, right when you need it.
If you’re already within the three-week window, we still encourage you to reach out. We’ll always do our best to accommodate your needs.
Common Questions
Flowers are packaged at the farm in standard bunch sizes. Most varieties are sold in 10-stem bunches, though there are some exceptions, most notably roses and carnations, which are typically sold in 25-stem bunches.
At Springfield Florists Supply, we sell flowers by the bunch exactly as they arrive. We do not break bunches into smaller quantities. For example, if you’re purchasing roses, the minimum quantity you could purchase would be one bunch (25 stems).
There are no minimum purchase requirements beyond the bunch size. You’re welcome to buy as little as one bunch of daisies or as much as 1,000 roses, depending on your needs!
We ask that customers place pre-book orders at least three weeks before their desired pickup date to allow us enough time to source the products.
Prebook orders must be paid in full at the time the order is placed. We accept cash and credit card payments only. Please note that flowers will not be ordered from the farms until payment is received. If there are any issues upon product arrival, we will make every effort to offer suitable substitutes or issue a credit if necessary. For DIY customers shopping in-store, payment will be collected at checkout when you’re ready to complete your purchase.
Customers who have placed an order in advance will have their flowers cut and hydrated before the scheduled pickup date. While we do not provide buckets for transport, you are welcome to bring your own. If you don’t have buckets, we will simply remove the flowers from the water and dry pack them in a box. We recommend picking up your flowers at least 2 days prior to your event to ensure they are fresh and ready to go. Additional information will be provided when you pick up your order.
We are strictly a wholesaler and do not offer design services. However, we do provide all the products you need to create your own arrangements. If you’re unsure about flower options or availability, we’re happy to assist by helping you identify flowers from pictures, whether from Pinterest or other sources. While some flowers are available year-round, their prices can vary depending on the season, and this is where our expertise comes in. If you’re looking for finished arrangements, we have a long list of Florists we can recommend.
The quantity you’ll need depends on the number of arrangements you plan to make and their sizes. For example, if you choose a container with a larger opening, you’ll need more flowers to fill it. We will provide information on how many stems are in each bunch, but it’s up to you to calculate the number of stems required for your arrangements. Keep in mind that not every stem will be perfect. It’s normal to have some unusable stems due to quality issues, size, or imperfection.
